Kink Ink and 40 WiNKS have collaborated to bring a seductive evening of art. Attendees will be handed a pen and paper and taken back to an 18th century aristocratic ambiance to sketch tantalizing temptresses. This new entertaining concept of life drawing class is mixed with theatre and set to a soundtrack by the composer, Daniel Pemberton. The first class will take place on Wednesday 2nd of September and the second, Wednesday the 14th of October 2009. For further information contact 40 WiNKS and be sure to reserve your spot for this provocative life drawing experience.

Rita is a dear friend of mine and a very talented artist, so pop down to Sotheby’s (the Vienna branch!!) this Thursday evening for the exclusive private view. Rita has asked me to say that you will only be admitted if you wear “light” colours… Why, I have no idea, but it’s her party. Enjoy!!

David had luminous chandelier ‘couturier’ Eva Menz around for a drink last night. Eva is an established star in the glittering world of bespoke (custom for my American readers) lighting, creating often innovative and breathtaking pieces in a range of unusual materials such as origami, pearl and even ice!!! Pieces range from £5,000 to £100,000. Eva has an outstanding portfolio that you must check out but here I picked my favorites to share.

Lost and Found
A LITTLE ‘AMELIE’ EXPERIENCE IN LONDON…
Anyone venturing down to Columbia Road this weekend in the hope of bumping into Kelli should spare a few minutes to climb the tiny staircase just next to ‘Marcos and Trump’ at no. 146. Here you will discover the work of artist Jessie Chorley… Her shop may be the size of a broom cupboard, but it is brimming over with the strange, the curious and the evocative. Think ‘Amelie’… If the film was set here in London, this is probably where she would be hanging out on a Sunday afternoon!! Let me know if you agree..
